Box's Aaron Levie: Silicon Valley has changed since Donald Trump's victory


When Donald Trump’s travel ban was abruptly ordered last month, Silicon Valley’s ruling class felt forced to respond to what was seen as a calamitous policy.

But despite its potentially ruinous implications for the immigrant-heavy tech industry, many chief executives stopped short of condemning Trump, apparently so as not to enrage the new president or his supporters.

Not Aaron Levie. “On every level - moral, humanitarian, economic, logical, etc. - this ban is wrong and is completely antithetical to the principles of America,” he tweeted shortly after it was announced.
