Box's Aaron Levie: Silicon Valley has changed since Donald Trump's victory

When Donald Trump’s travel ban was abruptly ordered last month, Silicon Valley’s ruling class felt forced to respond to what was seen as a calamitous policy.

 But despite its potentially ruinous implications for the immigrant-heavy tech industry, many chief executives stopped short of condemning Trump, apparently so as not to enrage the new president or his supporters.

 Not Aaron Levie. “On every level - moral, humanitarian, economic, logical, etc. - this ban is wrong and is completely antithetical to the principles of America,” he tweeted shortly after it was announced.

Saving the output of a Windows Command Prompt command is a great way to get a nice neat copy to share with support staff, analyze longer outputs using your favorite text editor, or otherwise interact with the output with more flexibility than staying in the command window allows for. To redirect the output of a command to a text file instead of printing it to the screen in the command window, we simply need to execute the command and append it with the “>” angle bracket symbol—called, appropriately enough, a redirection.
